A warm welcome

Hello lovely humans, and welcome to my blog! Allow me to introduce myself:
I’m Lauren (they/them), I’m 23 and I’m from the Surrey/Hampshire borders in the South of England, having moved here about 3 years ago after many years in North London, but of Scottish Heritage. I’m chronically ill, I’m queer and in mental illness recovery!
I used to host a wordpress site of my own with regular posting, but with my physical and mental health issues I found it got a wee bit much so decided to give it up and when I missed it took to instagram blogging as I was already doing a lot of activism on that platform, and that’s where @holaurgraphic was born. I have found that instagram blogging is in general, day to day, more accessible, which is absolutely great for this disabled gal! Buuuut… I also miss wordpress… and I miss longer posts, and insta has a character limit… SO! That’s where Holaurgraphic Writes was born! A no-pressure space to share longer pieces of writing, secondary to my instagram blog. My primary posting space remains to be my instagram, please know that, but I am very excited to now have this space to write some longer pieces alongside it. I hope you all enjoy reading!
